Meet My Foster Dogs
A tribute to the brave dogs waiting for their forever home. Because every soul deserves a second chance.
Sometimes I wonder how many people walk past dogs without really seeing them. Dogs who’ve learned to make themselves small, thinking they’re a burden. Dogs who crave love, yet have never known what it feels like to be truly seen.
Here in Albania, where life is especially cruel to many street animals, I’ve had the privilege of becoming a safe space for some of them. Many arrive broken, scared, sick – but with a little time, love and kindness, they begin to bloom.
Each one of these dogs has a story. Each one has touched my heart in a different way. And now, I want to share them with you – in hopes that someone out there will not only read them but feel them. And maybe, just maybe, offer them the home they’ve been dreaming of.
Rrushe – The One Who Can Finally Breathe Freely
Spitz x Border Collie mix, female, spayed, born Dec. 2023, 13.5 kg
Rrushe spent the first months of her life tied to a short chain. No grass beneath her paws, no play, no walks – only dust, loneliness and waiting.
When she came to me, she was cautious but had a fire inside her. Now, she’s an active and curious young dog who’s learning what it means to be free. She’s house-trained, walks well on a leash and gets more confident every day.
She’s still a little unsure in new situations but at home she blossoms. Rrushe is looking for someone with patience, clarity and a heart full of love – someone who sees her potential and gives her the life she was meant to have.
Pia – The Old Lady with the Biggest Heart
Mixed breed, female, spayed, 14 years old, 6 kg
Pia was abandoned – simply because she’s old. Because she was no longer “useful.” But what others saw as a burden became a blessing in my life.
From the very first moment, Pia stole my heart. She’s calm, gentle and wise. Despite undergoing surgery to remove five tumors, she radiates peace and gratitude.
She doesn’t need much – a soft bed, a little sunshine, slow walks and a lot of love. Pia is living proof that love has no age.
Maeve, Mila & Maya – Three Sisters, Three Miracles
Mixed breeds, female, born Oct. 2024, 8–10 kg
These three puppies were found dumped in a trash bin – thrown away like garbage, helpless and alone. Thankfully, kind-hearted children rescued them before something worse could happen.
Now, they are the living embodiment of hope:
Maeve, the tiniest of the three, has the biggest heart. She loves people, gives kisses and is incredibly sweet.
Mila is the balanced one – playful but calm when she needs to be. She brings peace wherever she goes.
Maya is the bold explorer – smart, confident and full of spirit. She pushes boundaries but loves deeply.
All three are ready for families who are willing to turn their past into something beautiful – a future full of safety, trust and unconditional love.
Rio – The Little Adventurer with a Big Heart
Shepherd mix, male, born Oct. 2024, 7 kg
Rio was found alone on the street, scared and abandoned. But once he felt safe, his true nature emerged – a curious, playful, water-loving little explorer.
He walks well on a leash and is eager to discover the world around him. Rio is looking for experienced humans who don’t just want to guide him but to grow and learn with him.
Ruth – The One No One Wanted, Who Gives Everything
Mixed breed, female, spayed, approx. 2017, 18 kg
Ruth was found during a neutering project – sick, aged, with broken teeth and heartworms. Many would have turned away. But I couldn’t.
And what a dog I’ve discovered. Ruth is gentle, cuddly and always close by. She loves slow walks in nature and can even go off-leash – she never strays far.
She doesn’t know much about the world but she trusts. And she deserves someone who finally shows her what unconditional love really means.
You Can Change a Life — Maybe Even Your Own.
Each of these dogs has carried a heavy past – but none of them has given up. They’re ready to love. They’re ready to trust. They’re ready for you.
If one of these beautiful souls speaks to your heart, don’t hesitate to reach out. I accompany every adoption with time, care and an open heart – because this isn’t just about placing a dog. It’s about helping them truly arrive.
